About Whisky Jack’s

This sentimental whisky was created in celebration of owners Janet Docherty’s and Rick Pipes fathers, who were both named Jack.

In honour of Father’s Day, we’re releasing the final bottles of one of the oldest craft whiskies in British Columbia. Distilled in 2007, Whisky Jack’s has matured over 15 years; with seven years in oak and over a decade in the bottle, developing unparalleled depth and complexity.

Crafted from organic British Columbia malt and produced in a singular small batch, Whisky Jack’s is truly a rare single malt, single barrel whisky. It first aged for five years in a French Oak barrel from Okanagan Barrel Works, then further refined for two years in a barrel that once nurtured Merridale’s Cowichan Cider Brandy. This unique maturation process imbues our whisky with a gentle finish and distinct essence of Merridale.
